I think Google takes information from your email to tailor ads for you, like for example, I subscribed to Mod Cloth, now almost every page I visit has a Mod Cloth ad...

Well, what it translates into mostly is something along the lines of 'it certainly is that' because the 'si' in this sentence emphasises it. :)

I was just making the point. I found it ridiculous that we had to study Spanish as a second language in Spain. Yes, a lot of them do, I'm quite divided about the subject.

Bask and Basque, depends on the English you speak I suppose. And not everyone speaks Spanish, it's quite ridiculous... I'm from Barcelona, but I do: ) can't speak Basque or Gallician!

I completely understand. It took me a while to learn the Australian ones and I know more about the Spanish now than when I lived there :)
I aas homeschooled for a while and mom got us to learn the countries abd capitals of most of the world. It was may beyond anything we learnt at school. School education has really declined, I find, so I get what you mean

Yeah, the fact that he says 6 or 7 is because we have 6 states but an extra one is counted just for the capital because they couldn't decide which state to put it in. So we have Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and ACT (Australian Capital Territory) :)
I'm Spanish and Australian, it's just so you have an idea of what's going on, it's tricky geography...
