Whoever downvoted me for saying its fake, it is. This was on Arabic news channel so the journalist was most likely an Arab and wouldn't be asking that.

OK firstly, they're not filters. Filters are the things you add when you swipe left or right after you've taken a pic or video that gets those coloured or black and white settings. They are correctly called Snapchat lenses. Secondly, Snapchat lenses started enjoying in 2015, so they aren't a 2016 'thing'.

Well... I'm clearly left handed but I don't use my left hand to hold a mug. The sign should say 'I may be left handed at holding a mug...'

He used it as a metaphor. I studied this novel and wrote an essay about it. It's never specified that ots actual name is 'Adam'. Show me the quote where it does.
