Or you could smear the very visible blood over the wound, which would outline the flesh. Now you have an idea of where the flesh actually is and you may sew the wound shut.

I would agree that pressure will not affect ALL people within a society. However, looking from a GENERAL perspective, we clearly see the how many people can be coaxed towards certain ends as a result of being socialized a certain way.

I think we are having a disagreement regarding exactly what "the message" is. Personally, I feel like the post supports the conclusion that "the message" is just to be an overall good person. And I would argue that, while holy texts can offer some good points, they also carry some nonsense, i.e. the Bible's rejection of homosexuality. In fact, the makings of a good person can be found in many sources besides the aforementioned texts – each of which self-proclaim themselves as being more correct than all the alternatives.

You know Dasher, and Dancer, and Prancer, and Vixen, Comet, and Cupid, and Donder and Blitzen, but do you recall that they were all fucking eaten by Zeruel, the red dragon born of the Aeon of Fire?

Absolutely. Our society puts considerable pressure on women to find mates, (see the mating gradient and how it relates to age) so the thought of being alone is a legitimate concern for many women. And he is technically exploiting that insecurity.

"There were over 178.6 million females in the United States in 2009. The number of males was 151.4 million." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_United_States
Based on those numbers, the U.S. is 54% female.

Killing Beiber is certainly not going to fix the music industry. Do you have any idea how many people you would have to take out to do that? It's a lot. I haven't completed my calculations just yet, but I can tell you the final number is pretty damn big.

Turn out lights. Take iphone. Turn on its flashlight. Put marble over light. All the imperfections and bubbles in the glass become lit up, kind of like the galaxy marble-thing from "Men in Black." i*f*u*n*n*y had an ongoing theme of these posts.

I too was disappointing to find out the Rancor Beast did not live up to expectations. All this time, I thought it was this huge living monster; but it turns out it is just an itty bitty living monster.

Excepting that it needs a period, isn't the original sentence grammatically correct? I mean, if you really wanted to, you could put commas in like the men did, but it is also acceptable as is.

Leave the heart alone! If your love life is in shambles, that is the brain's fault. The brain selects mates, develops emotional connections, and actually accelerates the heart-rate when it becomes infatuated. The brain is a sneaky little bastard and even attempts to use your heart as a scapegoat.

That is not always wrong. For instance: "What did you step on?" (Also, I noticed your first sentence uses passive language. I thought it was clever.)
