OK maybe that's justified but I hate when people dump their less ill parents to nursing homes just because they can.

Nursing homes are fucked up. Your parents put up with your shit for 18 years, putting their life on the back burner for you, then you grow up and suddenly when your parents are old and senile they're 'annoying' and 'getting in the way of your life', so you dump them off like garbage that has served its purpose in some sad home of other abandoned people, and you visit them like once a month and eventually forget them. It's like a parent putting a three year old in an orphanage because they threw a temper tantrum at the store and it was 'embarassing'.

So basically they're too afraid to stick to their own beliefs, which makes their opinions less valuable.

Why is it that people with such strong opinions are always so afraid to make an account?

Ahah am I a fratboy? Jesus dude stop getting so enraged I'm just making some valid points based on what tumblr has presented us with. I knwo tumblr is your safe space and you hate seeing your haven get insulted, but honestly your obvious need for this safe space in itself already proves how bad shit is getting. Btw I'm more liberal than conservative, and I can't really be a fratboy because I am not and will not be part of a fraternity.

They teach in a manner that works with the AVERAGE student. Some kids call through the cracks unfortunately. They can always get homeschooled or enrolled in a special program, but normal public school is geared towards the average Joe. And hey, you might get into a bad college because your school wasn't too compatible with you, but even in college you have a second chance, where you can transfer out to another school after you finish your GEs.

Hey, good luck with your debt dude. But by any chance, can you tell us what your major was?

That's why school teaches a broad range of subjects for everyone to benefit a little from, rather than wasting resources to tailor everything to your specific needs, that's where college comes into play.

Jack of all trades as in you know a little bit of fundamental knowledge on every subject. That way, if you want to be a historian, you already have some basic knowledge of history, so you can feasibly become a historian in the future. If you want to be a mathematician, you know fundamental math, so you can hone that knowledge in college and get a degree in math. The other thing school teaches is social skill: how to interact with peers and superiors, and responsibility: doing homework and group projects on time. If school ONLY taught marine biology from kindergarten to highschool, people who wanted to be marine biologists would be VERY well prepared, but everyone else would be unable to pursue the major they wanted.

I think you should live in a cheap single person apt with minimal living costs until you pay off your debts. Starting a family while in debt is not a very reasonable thing to do in my opinion.
