With my limited, but completely useless, knowledge on the comics, (I'm also assuming that his speed works almost like The Flash's does i.e. Speed Force)
I'm guessing that anything within close proximity to him moves at the same speed as he does. So the music would speed up as he does, but if he was streaming the music from YouTube or something, I don't think he'd be able to listen to it while running.

His comforting the kid, parents don't have to do everything, they thought it would be cool if their son got a picture with the RDJ so they already had their camera out and he was already standing next to the kid when he started crying.

I'm sorry for everything you've gone through, just know that since you have been through this you can make it a lot easier on your own child/ren and maybe try and educate teachers and other parents on the subject, in the end just having his parents and teachers support will help him/her a lot, as he/she will understand that it is not their fault.
