Sorry, don't mean to argue with a sort of gonna be expert. Never in my three science degrees or year long internship in the Mayo Clinic pathology lab have I come across any oral or facial microflora. I definitely agree that children do not have fully developed immune systems. I also think kissing kids on the mouth is a terrible practice for many reasons. However, in my experience, adults tend to get sick with prolonged exposure to children far more often than the inverse. Kids tend to do dirtier things (not like that, come on) than adults, and so tend to get exposed to a wider variety of bacteria and fungi.

To be fair, children are likely to have more bacteria. Depending on their age, they put a lot of things near or in their mouth that they should not.

At no age is this actually appropriate.
