You could find a decent video or wiki on any of these and learn it in a few minutes. It would be a waste of time to have this class, and you do learn most of these in various other classes anyways.

You are not comparing equivalent things. For one, abortions are legal within certain constraints. For another, the argument is not about whether or not something is "fully human" as it is illegal for someone to go around killing bald eagles, which are certainly not even partly human. And lastly, left-handed redheads are indisputably (at least to any intelligent and sane person) living beings with higher brain functions and perceptions and whatnot.

Most professors do not let you do this, since the point is the time spent making the sheet by by hand forces you to access the information with several different functional areas of your brain.

He will not make anywhere near as much money as the popular morons, but he will at least earn his money.

To be fair, the person they are calling ignorant is, in fact, quite ignorant. At least they know basic science that a 10 year old should know.

Not necessarily. The material the professor supplies is based off what they expect you to know; the textbook or other sources of information may contain either more or less detail than what is expected of the students. Often the professor provides clarifications or different approaches to explanations to hopefully cast a wider net in assisting students to learn the subject matter.

On the third day of biochemistry class, one of my classmates walked up (I was sitting down at one of the student workbenches) and said "professor, I have a question about something you went over in the last lecture" to me. We already had a collective 8 hours of lecture from the professor at that point, and I do not really look much like him.

There are a lot of college textbooks that are pretty crappy too. I have seen mistakes in problems, the answers, text that referred presumably to figures in older editions, outdated information that was left out of revisions, etc. It is difficult to write a textbook in a subject like mathematics or science that is informative but not overbearing because people have different aptitudes and experiences with the subject. What is difficult to decipher for one person may be too simplistic for another. The same applies to the professor; they have students with a range of ability in the subject, but only have time to give one lecture and address a few questions. They provide material for students to go over in their own time so they can do it at their own pace.
