Another reason why I hated working at Walmart. A year or 2 ago they updated the uniform where you can wear jeans and any work appropriate shirt that didnt have a design on it.
The jeans were more comfortable and relaxing, but Walmart's arent known for good air circulation in their stores.
In my previous store, I would be doing BASIC work like unloading pallets, checking customers out, and helping random customers. Within 30 minutes of my shift I would have soaked through all layers of clothes due to sweating. I legit so t have a perspiration problem, but it just got so dang hot in the store. If we arent cart pushers we cant wear shorts.
I would go to management, clothes sticking to me due to sweat with my face beet red due to heat, and ask to please allow me to put some shorts on and they would accuse me of spraying myself with the hoses to manipulate them to allow me to break uniform code

My fiance used to do that to me with my love of Mass Effect. Like it got to the point I couldn't even mention it and it killed my interest in playing the games for a while. We had a long conversation about it and he longer bugs me over it. Especially since he had an equivalent obsession with Persona 5 and I told him I'll stop playing ME if he stops playing Persona.
Safe to say we both enjoy our games now
