My cat would lie next to me for hours, purring softly with her eyes closed, resting and feeling completely and utterly safe and content. Whenever I'd walk into a room, she'd meow happily, stand up, and walk over to greet me. When I got home from school she waited by the door. I had her for 13 years. She was the best cat I ever had and I held her as she died. She looked up at me into my eyes and meowed one last time before she passed away. I know she was telling me a final time that she loved me. I miss her so much

I'm terrified of bears because of several encounters I've had. For me, the scariest part about a bear is that unlike big cats, such as lions, tigers, leopards, ocelots, and cheetahs, bears do not kill you before they start eating. Big cats deliver a swift and powerful bite to the neck that will kill you quickly. But bears...bears will just start eating you. Doesn't matter how hard you fight. Unless you distract or manage to SEVERELY injure it (by some miracle, that is), it's not going to let go until it wants to. Bears are terrifying

I'm proud of you as long as she is good to you, you're good to her, and you love each other. Why is racism still a thing

Neil's that kid who sat in the front of the class all alone and interrupted the teacher every five seconds with 'facts' he learned from video games.

I think he's kind of an arrogant prick to be honest. I know everyone will attack me for saying this, but I've been thinking it for years. And yeah, I'm sure it's all just jokes on Twitter, but the way he constantly insults, belittles, and ignores his wife and children is disturbing. He's so insanely full of himself and I feel like he's slowly turning into his character, Deadpool. And that is so far from a compliment, it's not even funny. Kind of like him.

I always think of John Jones who died in the Nutty Putty Cave in Utah. He was trapped upside down for 28 hours, his lungs filled with fluid, and he essentially died of a mixture of drowning and suffocation due to the extremely tight squeeze. I feel awful for him and his family. It was a slow, agonizing, and brutal way to die.

North Carolina is not the first in flight necessarily. The plane was flown there, in Kitty Hawk, but Wilbur and Orville Wright designed, built, prototyped, and designed the planes in Dayton, Ohio.

My old cat, before she passed away, would sit on my bed next to me while I read and stared at the corner of the ceiling (where two walls and the ceiling meet) for over an hour at a time. Sometimes she would raise her hackles, move her eyes back and forth rapidly, hiss, or growl. It was terrifying!
