I saw a meme that said "Pants Purses" and my friend named them Purts. I wish he'd never seen that meme.

Last year I went to donate to Toys for Tots around the holidays. They asked if we'd buy socks and underwear instead of toys because that's what was requested the most. It's not the same level as this, but it really broke my heart that the one time I was donating to something for fun, basic needs weren't being met enough for the kids to have that.

That's how I remember it.

I think this transcends borders, language, religion...

All three of us are adults now. But only one of us has the grandkids (not me) They win.
