Did the store have a policy against pursuing shoplifters? Because i know a lot of retail places do, and it is a zero-tolerance tyoe situation. You violate that policy, you are fired immediately. It's a safety concern to chase a shoplifter. What if they have a weapon and turn violent? You can make a slightly inconvenient situation for the store into a tragedy.

I remember something like this. It wasn't quite me alone, but I was playing the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. We were on the Noveria map, which is tiny as hell, against the Geth. 2 team members drop, so it's just me and the sniper. I'm a vanguard, so i like being right up in the middle of the enemies. I aggro'd every goddamn enemy on the map, and held them off for a good minute or so just going bananas with the Nova-Charge combo. I took enough down that the sniper was able to finish the wave. It was epic.
