I haven't kept up with dinosaur classification for a while, so I had no idea that Brontosaurus and Apatasaurus had been split apart again! Cool!

This is what makes the Simpsons so superior to Family Guy to me. For all the stupid crap they go through and put one another through, it is clear that all of the Simpsons family love each other dearly.

Yeah, not an option for me since I don't have a PC that is anywhere close to being capable of running it (it'll be console for me), but if I did, you bet I'd be getting it through GOG.

Dude's in the gaming media. He probably would get a review copy for free anyway, so it was kinda pointless.

Yeah, Keanu wouldn't be able to get the right style of humor. I agree with Hugh Jackman's pick: I want Tom Hardy to play the role.

Read "1984". It does a great job of explaining why changing governments/revolutions really doesn't solve anything. Those are really usually just a conflict between the ruling class and the middle class. The ruling class is overthrown, a portion of the middle class rises up to become the new ruling class, and they basically are identical to the old one in all but name, and the middle class reorganizes itself, preparing for another war. Meanwhile, nothing changes at all for the lower class.

And, to any nerds of a certain age, Cyberpunk 2020 (which Cyberpunk 2077 is based on) is certainly not a "forgotten franchise". It is one of the Big Four of tabletop RPGs alongside D&D, World of Darkness, and Call of Cthulhu.

Ok, CD Projekt Red isn't a "random developer" at this point. After The Witcher series, they are one of the most respected studios in the world.

That's not Goku. Judging by the hair, it's either adult Gohan (in which case your original point still stands), or Yamcha (at which point it actually makes sense. Yamcha just doin Yamcha things.)

Like, I didn't think it was possible to screw up the Dark Phoenix storyline more than The Last Stand did, but welp...

Me and another guy my freshman year had this exact conversation. We had a damn good laugh about it.

Chuck Norris once sold his soul to the Devil for his rugged good lucks and supreme martial arts skills. Once the deal was done, Chuck Norris proceeded to roundhouse kick the Devil in the face and steal his soul back.
The Devil (who appreciates irony) wasn't angry about the situation, and now they get together to play poker every 3rd Tuesday of the month.

That is caused by the Coriolis Effect, which happens due to the rotation of the Earth on it's axis. This same phenomenon is why tornadoes and hurricanes tend to rotate counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere, and clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.

A quick reminder that Hammond actually does make a comment that he should be the one going with Muldoon to restore power, because she is a woman, and she just rolls her eyes at him, and tells him they'll talk about "sexism in survival situations" when she gets back. Hammond isn't demonized for it either. The film treats him as a man of integrity who just has some old-fashioned ideas.
