Whoa, business make decisions based what makes them money? It's almost as if their main purpose is to *make a profit!* How awful!

Requirement before the cashier at Aldi opens another register 2 comments

Aldi usually only has 2 or 3 employees in store at a time. So yeah, they try not to open multiple registers unless it is absolutely necessary. It's part of why they can set their prices so low and still be competitive.

I thought that too, but the post says "I hope you find a woman who treats you as well as you treat her."

Maybe they are ex's who are still good friends, but know they don't work as a couple. There are a lot of reasons why they might not get together.

Oh, no. Tyrion *very much* had working equipment. The first time we meet him, he's in bed with a whore. There are multiple eunuchs in the show, but Tyrion ain't one.

So, is the queen adjacent to the king here? Cause if so, the king can just take the queen... no need to get the rook involved at all.

If I was in the same scenario, I would gladly take a bruised head (or even a concussion) if it meant saving that woman's life.

You can tell, he sensed something was up. He was staring at her, and took off pretty much immediately. He suspected she was going to try something.

Biggest missed opportunity in the series, seeing as I'm pretty sure Jon will learn his parentage from Howland Reed in the novels, as he's the last survivor from the Tower of Joy.

Does it matter? Not everything needs to be explained. Benisoff and Weiss made a lot of mistakes this season, but that isn't one of them.

To be fair, I only use it ironically as well. However, I definitely know who people who legitimately use it.

It was a contract dispute. He had a three movie deal in place, and then they told him to take an 8th of what the contract said he was owed, because they needed more money to pay RDJ, who demanded a huge pay raise. I'd have made the same damn call.

I've said for years, if there's ever a biopic on Elon Musk, John Barrowman needs to be the one to play Elon.

For me, it's the same thing, but with quests/missions in RPGs.
