Yes, it's pandering to women. Implying that women are affected more by healthcare decisions because of rape is ignoring the fact that men are rape victims as well. By omitting those victims, by definition, he is pandering to women.

If we start qualifying who gets to make decisions, limited only to those with personal experiences with the direct subject matter, then this man should not be making military decisions. Women should not be involved in decisions having been to do with OSHA, since 95% of workplace deaths are men. Imagine the outrage if he said this about women, in any scenario. This is nothing more than pandering to women.

College education for everyone 11 comments

Free how? How are you going to force the administrations and the professors to provide a service free of charge? Unless by free, you simply mean someone else pays for it. Then a college education becomes about as valued as a high school diploma.

If people are breaking the law, then absolutely, they need to be held accountable. Changing the law, however, won't make them compliant with the law. I feel we should have much stricter penalties and enforcement on people that break existing gun laws before we create a bunch of new ones. I don't mind any disagreement about this, but ambiguous terms like "assault weapon" make my blood boil, because they are terms used by those who should know better, to mislead people that don't. An example is Alan Grayson saying an AR-15 shoots 700 rounds a minute.

Also, you may not purchase "anything you can imagine." Automatic weapons are illegal to sell or purchase, without obtaining extremely expensive and rare permits.

At gun shows, a federally licensed gun dealer is not permitted to sell a firearm without a federal background check. Person to person sales are legal without background checks, but only to a person within the same state, and it is not permitted to sell a firearm to either someone they know or to someone to whom they have a belief will do harm. If you are "engaged in the business of selling firearms", you must obtain a federal firearm dealer's license. While that is a subjective term, people selling as few as two firearms have been convicted of illegally selling firearms. Those are the federal guidelines, states may have more stringent laws, but not more relaxed. The "gun show loophole" is misleading, at best.

So you're telling me that you can buy the equivalent of an AR-15 in a grocery store with no background check? That would be a felony on the part of the grocery store.

Actually, if you dared to read the study where only 1% of welfare recipients tested positive for drugs, it was because the study was voluntary. So, essentially they asked welfare recipients if they would volunteer, and a couple of people STILL tested properly survive.

Ever notice how a lot of liberals believe that if someone doesn't want taxpayer money paying for something like birth control, that person wants to deny access to it?

The judgement might not be from having tattoos, but rather what they look like. I have full sleeves (that you won't see, because I wear long-sleeve shirts at work) and if you come to an interview showing off work from a scratcher, I'm not hiring you. It's a direct reflection of your judgement.

If we use examples of behaviors in wildlife as evidence that certain behaviors are "normal" and therefore should be accepted, we must remember that in wildlife, rape, theft, and murder are common occurrences.

Switch gears much? When your logic fails, just claim bigotry and hate, right?

Haha, are you naïve enough to believe liberal politicians care about these issues? Hint: they don't. They pander to their voting block and seize on the opportunity to make money off of the issue

Considering Gawker's sites, they would not be doing this to a female. It also explains why they were so silent about the Erin Andrews case.

In the school I went to, boys could not (and still can't) have long hair or wear earrings. Boys cannot wear shorts, but girls are allowed to wear skirts. Please stop claiming rape culture victimization every time a rule is enforced that prevents you from doing every single little thing you want. These rules are in place to instill discipline and respect It clearly has not taken.

They had pipe bombs in addition to guns, not slingshots and knives. If they had only used pipe bombs, perhaps the disaster would have been greater.

That may be he dumbest pro-abortion argument I've ever heard. Unless it's not a pro-abortion argument and just an anti-conservative argument, in which it's just as ridiculous. The smug looks on his face as he thinks he's making great points are priceless.
