Pedophilia is a sexual orientation. It has been recently classified as such. This was for two good reasons. One, people conflate adult males who molest boys with homosexuals and claim that pedophilia is an aspect of homosexuality as part of an anti-LGBTQ attitude. Secondly pedophilia does not respond to treatment like a paraphilia, it’s roots are deeper in the psyche so classifying it’s as an orientation allows for more effective research on behavior modification to reduce negative outcomes.

I would think “gay gal” would work even better.

I’ve seen it too. Sometime it’s for legitimate reasons if they are responding to a call and don’t want to spook the suspects so they need to get through the light safely without the full lights and sirens going the whole time.

It’s an interesting premise because people will apply their own interpretation of who the cancer cells represent. Depending on that interpretation they will side with the two cells differently. Some will find it to be an accurate prediction of a threatening segment of society and others will become defensive because they think it’s aimed at them or those they want to be. Which way did you take it?
