Cromulent was a word invented by the Simpsons writers to see if they could sneak it into mainstream use without actually defining it. In the episode Lisa says “embiggen” and someone describes it as a “perfectly cromulent word” implying in context that cromulent means something along the lines of “acceptable”.

If you were Japanese you would have to kill yourself for reading difficulties and I would have to kill myself for the extra word I put in there. I was at a drive through when I was typing it and they gave me my food halfway through.

I was in IT for a couple decades and we just threw away keyboards when employees left. They were all gross. The worst was one woman whose skin, for some undetermined reason, would rub off on her keys. It was a black keyboard and she was white so it was very apparent. It was like it imbedded itself in the plastic. Very bizarre.

The restaurant is locally famous for its humor. They encourage the servers to put the charge (which is listed on the menu under “sides”) on the tabs of tables they think would find it funny.

I’ll give it a try. Parallel to 25-pin serial to a gender bender to 9-pin serial to gender bender to ps/2 to RCA. The big thing has VGA coming out and on the other side some kind of BNC connector to coax, 10base2 maybe, then a bunch of coax types ending in a 6.35mm audio plug.
