This makes so much sense though. That's why I'm single, a relationship isn't about being with someone because it's cool or they're hot, or they're popular, it's about love and being together and being happy with each other. My rule of thumb for dating is that if you can't see yourself in a long term relationship with that person, they're probably not the right one. I have a friend that waited through most of high school to date because she hadnt found the person for her yet, and currently she's been in a relationship for a long time. :3

All this is saying is don't do something that hurts someone because even if you say sorry it's not immediately all better.

The first verse is in Leveticus and the second verse is in Dueteronomy. That's a book of the bible in the Old Testament. So, this half of the bible is more of history than christan values; Christ fullfilled the Old Testament when he died on the cross then rose again 3 days later (Easter) so some laws such as the "should be executed" parts in BOTH verses quoted are not relevant to or a part of the Christiam laws and values we follow today. That means we don't follow the execution laws stated in either verse (same with most of the other old testament laws) these people quoted but the values are the same, for example homosexuality is not exactly correlated with Christiam values and neither is sex before marraige (that's what the second quote means). Although the bible does say homosexuality is wrong, I still believe we should "love another as yourself". it still says we should love everyone as a brother or sister and not be judgemental of anyone.

It's so weird and reverse that people are told that and very well know that police/soldiers are protective and are the good guys and they are just like everyone else, but people get tense and stiff when one is near. I'm 14, and I'm guilty of doing this but don't know why and I well know that they're protective and not to be scared of. It's like a reflex that we saw other people doing so we do it too.
