I used to live paycheck to paycheck and I over heard a rich person (I was meant to over hear) complaining that certain people (me) wouldn't even donate $20. "It's only $20. It's not like it's a lot of money." When you live paycheck to paycheck $20 is the difference between having food and not having food.
