Especially after the Second Wizard war. A lot of Gryffindors were being really mean to their fellow students who left when they were given that option to. There was a lot of terrible name-calling and bullying towards them.

This is not parenting goals. This is raising a child to believe that one type of person is lesser based on their skills. Yes, calling someone a mudblood is bad, but not just slytherins say it. Some Gryffindors have said it, as well as Ravenclaw (And probably not Hufflepuffs but who knows). The point is who cares what house someone belongs to? Slytherin students are cunning, have quick wits, and, though sly, tend to be charismatic, and charming. Why is this a bad thing? If i had a kid, I'd want them to have some of those qualities. Stop judging a person by their house.
(Sorry, but this house stereotyping bothers me. Also I'm a hufflepuff, not slytherin, but a lot of my friends are slytherin so i feel the need to stand up for them.)
