Go fer it. As long as you don’t take away the happiness of others, go down the rabbit hole and find other weirdos like you. Find a mate and raise others that appreciate the minutia that numbs the brains of normies. Create a society that worships the pure pursuit of your craft. After several generations and subsequent ideological splits caused by the multiple interpretations of the traditions you practiced because it was fun to have rituals your group could do together. The resulting factional differences explode into violence that burns your utopia in ‘righteous’ flames.

I dunno man, I really wish that was the case. But history has shown us time and time again that sometimes violence is the only way to limit an even greater violence. We can always look back and say there might have been a peaceful solution. That’s what education is for.

Yeah, I spent a few months in uni researching this, and all I had at the end was more questions than I started with. My professor’s sly grin when I came to her to change my paper topic out of frustration made me realize how futile it was.
