It's as simple as: Trump doesn't like masks therefore the overarching media is pro mask. Ergo if you don't like masks you're a trumper and/or coronavirus denier. The 4th estate at this point are a joke.

Most egregious offences tend to be towards her animals. Specifically her cat. She fed her cat vodka (which is a toxic substance to cats), she has tossed her cat around without caution several times, she's used racial slurs on streams in the past, and openly admitted to marriage fraud to obtain citizenship in Canada (She's colombian and married a guy then bragged about divorcing him to gain citizenship on her stream.) She has started drama with several big internet personalities, I.e. Ninja and Pewdiepie being the biggest. All around god awful person.

Twitch streamer Alinity. She's a repeat offender in breaking the Terms of Service that twitch has but has never been banned for these offenses, its become a conpsiracy in the streaming community that she's has some nefarious in with twitch staff to never get banned. It's so bad that she had a nip slip on stream and she had to come out and ask to be banned before Twitch staff would ban her account for a week whereas several other small streamers have been perma-banned for similar things that she's done. Idk how far the rabbit hole you wanna go but i can give you some examples of shit she's done.

I didn't realize we were defending the confederacy? I'm pretty sure the first sentence in her comment is saying that the civil war was fought over slavery. The admission that their was more involved in the origin of the conflict than the continuation of slavery =/= anyone is defending slavery.
-
The biggest aspect of the civil is, was, and always will be slavery. But there were still several nuances that further exacerbated the divides in the country. High population of immigrants in the north vs an exceedingly small population of the south lead a big split between urban and rural. The vast difference in economic development between the north and south also lead to further strife. Westward expansion also played a role but that tended to be more along the racial lines in how states were admitted to the union. Foreign influence also played a huge role. If it wasn't for the cheap cotton being sold to European buyers the longevity/viability of slavery would have been well past expiration

A month into the whole shindig the WHO spread Chinese lies in several news releases. Most reported was that the disease wasn't spread person to person whereas everyone with half a brain seeing how the lockdowns were going could tell shit wasn't adding up. They blamed a single market for the release and yet they were shutting down several cities with multimillion populations without the transmission being person to person. Bullshit. The WHO is so in bed with China it's ridiculous. The fact that the WHO's president, in an interview, refused to answer questions directed at how Taiwan was handling the outbreak by defering and/or refering to it solely as China further shows how deep the rabbit hole goes. To top it off when the interviewer keeps pressing the President he just straight up leaves the call and won't acknowledge the question when he reconnected.

Imma leave my two cents here. This should be a discussion made between partners first and foremost.
-
If the partners are for certain they do not want to have any children and/or anymore children period then imo it could go either way but (my research on this is admittedly lacking so i apologize in advance if I'm incorrect) a womans steralization is much more perminant than a mans in that mens can be undone much more easily, even several decades later. If the partners are unsure of whether they want more kids then the man should undergo a vasectomy as that is much more easily reversed. Again it should be a decision made between the partners.
-
Now that being said a partner pressuring another to undergo any life changing surgery such as this is disgusting and entirely toxic. Imo whichever party brings up the sterlization should automatically be the first in line for the surgery.

I can honestly say, although i know it isn't a hoax, i can see why people dont take it seriously and why they don't believe any of it. The flip flopping manner in which the CDC, Fauci, and the WHO have handled the whole deal has been nothing short of reprehensible. The fact that Fauci can come out and say everyone needs masks, a week later they don't and now they do again because, at the time, it was easier to tell people they didn't need masks rather than admit we as a nation didn't have enough for everyone.

I get what you mean, these are synonymous american brands made famous by the mascots involved but unfortunately these depictions had racially insensitive undertones in several instances. At this point in time the racial caricature used by these corporations isn't normally associated with the original racial undertones of the time they originated. That being said the argument tends to be that if something was created in a racial way that negatively affected POC of yesteryear then it is still just as racist today even if it has lost the overarching racial conotations.

Or they could forgo the idea altogether and move past perceived/real slights of the past and have a mascotless company.

In exceedingly missleading and over simplified terms yes.
-In reality no. It all comes down to context of the times in which the character was originiated. In things such as the Aunt Jemima character it was originated in a time of whitewashing history. The perptuation of the happy house slave mythos that spread accross the south post civil war.
-Uncle Ben is a reference to a time when in order to keep from calling a black man sir or black woman ma'am white children would call them aunt and uncle to signify that yes they were older but that they didn't respect them.
-Again LoL here is beyond me for why they've removed the native american icon but again that's entirely up to them.
-Lastly this isn't me saying I fully support or denounce any of these companies' actions. Rather I'm giving the perspective used by companies and people behind these changes for why they are making them. At the end of the day these companies could come up with a modern variant that better reflects the times

Short answer. Woke.
-
Longer answer. There's a societal shift in what people find morally justifiable. With rampant comsumerism the corporations at the top of the market are willing to capitalize on the social changes, . I.E. pride month and now minority representation in consumer goods. Anything a large enough group people deem as racist or prejudiced is enough to have the company completely change course on whatever it was doing because if they don't they could lose money in the long run.
-
For this specific case idk how they've justified this or if they even care to. It's their brand and they can do with it what they like. If no native americans were involved in either the making of the butter or involved in anyway other than being the maskot I can see why people would take issue. Again though it's entirely up to the company to change it's logo and practices if they so choose.
