First husband didn’t hit me. But he did everything else including just the threat of physical violence. Second husband did hit but also did every single thing on this list. Third husband is amazing and has never raised his hand to me, has never made me feel less than, and is a weird gentleman. Sometimes life sucks but if we can get ourselves out of the situation and find our own worth, it’s easier to find real happiness. <3

MY high school drug tested athletes and random ones at times. It was pretty normal but I went all 4 years without one.

I went to the police too late. By a week. They said my memory was “tainted” and that I wasn’t a reliable witness so they weren’t going to do anything further. Without a rape kit I had no proof either.

It’s either oil or acrylic. Oils are easier to do in this style but take much longer to dry. And yes, it actually stands up off the canvas.
