I'm pregnant now with #3 (surrogacy baby, so not mine!) but yeah, periods are nothing compared to delivery! Lol

I can't think of a stupid gift honestly... Even if it's a silly gag gift, at least they're trying to add humor... And also- I LOVE candles. So yeah- that would backfire quickly.

I have had long hair for years and constant headaches from pulling it up in a bun or ponytail (with kids- down just doesn't work well....) anyway, a month ago I got it cut all off. Like- shaved the sides and the top is about 2 inches. I haven't had a single headache so far from the pressure, I can dye it fun colors a lot easier, and it's SO much easier and cheaper to take care of now!
I loved it long because I thought that was the feminine and proper way to wear my hair- now I've embraced that I can wear my hair any way I want and I can still be feminine and awesome!!

At least it should in a reputable hospital. If one cancerous cell just happened to float to another organ (easily done considering the blood flow) the entire body should be disregarded for donation. That could potentially give every single other person cancer as well. ((Watched a bones episode about this very thing the other day!))

I've always been "the mom friend" even before I had kids. Friends drunk at a party and wanted to drive? -Nope! Sober mom friend to the rescue. Friend wanted to go to White Castle at 2am bc they're hungry? -Nope cooking mom friend made hamburgers in the middle of the night. It was fun though. :)

Honestly if you know her "time" is coming- take a picture of whatever is already under the sink and just surprise her with it. And chocolate. Don't forget that part. But seriously- it'll earn you some serious points in her book for going out and getting the right kind without her having to tell you what kind they are.

My husband and I saved for quite a while to get a ring for my engagement ring. (Yes- we both did.) My first ring was tiny and adorable- and I loved it. Then he surprised me by trading it in as a down payment toward a larger nicer ring for our actual wedding. It was perfect. Exactly what I wanted, still within our price range, and beautiful- best part is that it was from an estate sale so it is 80+ years old and already has a lifetime of love in it, we get to add to the memories. <3
