That's Murphy's Law.

Fourth Law of University:
A professor who has a last-minute appointment/conference/meeting/something will NEVER cancel the class. The TA for the class is expected to teach the class, OR an exam will be held on that day. NO EXCEPTIONS.
In the case the professor gets sick suddenly, thus making him/her cancel the class, a notice will be send to the students a 30 minutes before the class starts if lucky. They believe students commuting great distances is not a thing.

Second Law of University:
No assignments are given until the last 2 or 3 weeks of classes, where the professors realized they never gave anything, and are missing the grades. Students will wish injecting caffeine into the system was a viable option (or in the case of graduate students (and some undergrads, depending the major), alcohol)

So true 6 comments

I once woke up really late to do my "routine" before I leave. So I just, practically, left the house in my pjs, with only the books/materials I needed for my morning class (I came back home to pick up the rest cuz I had like a 3-hr wait for the afternoon class)

"After a long day of work, I cannot wait until I get home. I always love the smell that greets me whenever I open that door. I can't help but reminiscence that fateful day when I saw my beloved from afar. It was the most astounding sight. Even now, nothing—no one can compare. I was sweating like a pig, and I felt faint but even like that I took courage from places I didn't even know and approached her. Her smell was intoxicating. Her touch... it was like silk. Not even silk could even compare the feeling I got the first time I dared place my hands on her.
Finally, I reached my house. I can't help the grin that starts forming. I am always happy to be back, back to the place I know my dearest is waiting for me.
As soon as the door opens, I am greeted with a scent that warms my insides. Oh, how good it is to be home! What a sight! My beloved is there, waiting for me on the table, like always. "Oh, My beloved Bread, I missed you." I whisper against her velvety skin.
I am home."

I came when I was around 16ish too. I spent around 6 months not knowing what to do (I had already graduated HS back in my country); eventually, I went back to high school and graduated (again) within 12 weeks (the first 6 weeks or so were spent sorting out the paperwork from my country, really). I went to talk to the school adviser and she told me to apply to fafsa, even if my mom had been working just a few months since we had just come from another country. I went to a community college for a bit, and then transferred to a 4-year university. I've kept my grants and some scholarships (after several mental breakdowns), and so far it's paid off mostly everything, for which I'll be forever thankful.
I'll say taking AP classes doesn't hurt, but going to college can also be an enlightening experience (plus is cheaper if you take your basics there too)

... Or, you know, FAFSA if you are classified as "low income". Depending on where you live in the U.S., it can pay either everything, or a good part of your education so long as you keep the minimum requirements.

I've never watched MLP. I'm pretty much sure to the people that do your sentence makes perfect sense.
However, I am not one of those people, therefore right now I'm confused as hell. How can you even figure out the meaning of a tattoo you've never seen before?

Eh, it depends I guess. For most of my classes there's only one section, because our department isn't that big apparently, so we don't have much where to pick from. I've been "stuck" with most of the same people almost for 3 years now. It helps that we've gotten to know each other by now, because we help each other whenever we need it.
It really does 34 comments
