Don't say 'hopefully', say 'I will'. If you say it, it'll have more power. Plus, we are always here to lend a helping hand, and to listen ^^

... I feel weird when I go to someone's house and I start to take off my shoes only for them to say "oh, you don't have to, it's okay." IT'S NOT OKAY PEOPLE! IT FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE!
For the same reason, whenever someones comes into my house, my mom then gets this urge to mop the entire living room.

Once, we were in the middle of a lecture, when a guy came in wearing a horse maak, he went to a corner and stayed there until the lecture was over. The professor didn't even stop his lecture and continued explaining why triple integrals were important and how to use them to find the volume of things, as if the horse masked dude was not in a corner doing funny gestures.

How come the tree doesn't look destroyed? I'd never remember there is a tree there every time I'd open that door.

El Salvador, my city (or the region it's in) was literally named "Hammock Valley" in Spanish, because of the intense seismic activity that's always going on. Plus, the entire country is covered in volcanoes (okay, fine, only 23), they also do not help with the whole "seismic" thing.

I sleep with the bedroom door open. But that's because I grew up in a country where earthquakes are the most common thing in the world. Though most of them are really minor and do not cause a lot of damage, but we've had a couple that's destroyed buildings. They can happen at any single time. You kinda learn to leave it open, or at least partially if you don't want to get stuck inside if something is blocking the door from opening.

Dunno about you, but Solace didn't really strike me as the "shy" type, maybe ackward. Besides, a lot of people are already saying how that ending was a little bit... abrupt. Like "I've already made the kid suffer enough, how can I make it look happier? Oh! Let's give him a new romantic interest that has a hella lot more of potential."
Isn't he working in some Nordic one, though? And hasn't he made some crossover, short stories with his Egyptian one? (I remember there being at least 2), who knows what else he might come up with.

Who here wants to join me into going after Riordan and "ask" him to work this pairing a little bit more? Seriously, would it kill the man to include more info? I dunno, sort of like his "Demigod Files" or "Demigod Diaries" thing.

You can. Honestly, those precautions are coming mostly from when tattoos were more of a taboo topic, and people were getting them in shady places. But now? Well, certain states have people in charge into going to those places and making sure everything is in order. Like when a restaurant gets an inspection from the city every now and then to see if they are doing everything correctly, otherwise they'll force them to close. Pretty much similar concept.
Anyone brave enough to watch this to the end? 28 comments

If you are talking about the USA, it also depends on the state. If the tattoo parlors are not regulated by the state, then yeah, you'll have to wait. If they ARE, then no, they'll let you donate blood. Or at least, that's how it is where I live.
