I read once this visual novel (no idea the name), where some of the characters were drawn really ambiguosly, and the names didn't help because for the first chapters or so, no names were ever uttered. It wasn't until almost half way through some names started to appear, and I was like "Who on Earth is Ruth/Adam/whatever-name?", and then I'd go back and reread the stuff only to realize the girly looking boy was, in fact, female. Or the tomboyish looking girl was actually a teenager boy. It gave me a headache at the time.

Keihanaikukauakahihuliheekahaunaele is a really common last name. I'm surprised that so few people share it.

Yeah, but most of the times you hear about doing it to family members. Like you mentioned, the mother taking her kids. The father who not only killed the wife, but also his children, and then killed himself. That kind of thing. But here? He just decided to take the lives of 150 strangers with him. It's... really sad. I just wonder what was going through that man's head.

No, no. I mean, well, how do I explain this... I am rather... say, detached. It's really hard for me to show facial expressions/emotions besides frowning, a sarcastic smirk, and utter bafflement (unless it's something really ridiculous and stupid, then I burst out laughing). People have said that I am way to serious for someone my age; so I am intrigued as to what colours my hair could turn into if this were to be real. It'd be like my hair would show what my face doesn't, I bet it'd be confusing as hell.

Okay, downvote me all you want for what I'm about to say, but if he wanted to do die that badly, couldn't he have done it in some other way? You just don't take 150+ people and kill them while pretending nothing abnormal was happening. It was an 8 minutes fall, yet evidence suggest the guy was breathing normally all the time, nothing that suggested something wrong was going on, besides, you know, the fact they were falling from the sky.

My apologies. I never once implied you were one. Besides, it's not really common knowledge either unless you know the alternate name for vinegar (and/or the formula). Only people who have really good memory, or have really study that will have an idea (or know what's going on). Same like you, as a mechanical engineer; for you, saying euclidean vectors as if it were something different than just saying "vectors". Some will know, some others, not really.

Just because you are an engineering major doesn't mean you'll know everything by default. Plus, I don't know about you, but my school offers a "chemistry for engineers" class that replaces the normal chemistry classes some other students have to take. If you take something like that, I can assure you they are going to focus mostly in solids, than, well, the liquid/aqueous part of most things, because as an engineer, you'll be mostly focused in that. Unless you are a biomedical engineering major, they have to know a little bit of everything.
