If it was a bad batch or if he really was allergic to it, then you could sue for malpractice. Usually, it's things like egg allergies or gelatine allergies. Though it doesn't seem like seizures is a common allergic reaction. But there are a massive number of things which can cause seizures. If he had a family history of seizures, even in grandparents, great grandparents, or uncles and aunts, then it could be why. Or if he does sports, or has fever. Actually, did he get fever? And how high?
