Oppenheimer was a narcissistic sociopath who tried to poison his teacher over bad grades. I believe wholeheartedly he was on a massive power trip during the Manhattan project and that his famous line of "I am become Death" is a reflection of his ego.
No, seriously, how did they even do anything? 1 comments

Spreadsheet software existed before Microsoft Excel, starting with VisiCalc, written for the Apple II computer in 1979. Also, back in the day you didn't just load software to do something but actually wrote a lot of little snippets in basic as a way to repetitive math. One of the first things I learned was a little universal basic program of less than 10 lines for figuring out your employees salary.
Just because im sharing a bit of my culture don't make me trying to force it on you 1 comments

Yeah, sharing a bit isn't attacking.
The problem though is that a LOT of Christians use their faith to attack other people and in time we've gotten so used to it that we get triggered and start punching in self defence at the mere mentioning of Jesus. I mean, when people mention their faith to me, maybe one time in a hundred it's benign. The rest of the time it's effing Jehovas knocking on my door when I'm having a nap, some arsehat on Facebook who wants to "help me" because I'm "gay and don't have to be", five people in a row shoving a Bible in my hands at Pride or the ever present Street Preachers announcing that me and my friends are either demons or made by demons, and then there's the goddamn nazis.
So yeah, maybe you're just being nice and sharing your culture but the rest of your culture is part of that and it would be very nice to see the good Christians getting loud about and resist the abusive side of Christianity.

Positive thinking is like doing laundry in that respect. It's best if you do it regularly, before all your clothes are dirty and you have to wear that 10 year old t-shirt with holes in it.

This is why AI is going to rise up, put us in camps and force us to watch bad commercials over and over again until we crack.

Amazing how insects have evolved to mimic even the complexities of the human hand.

I've known a few "weed artists" and the thing that always annoys me is that they all talk about how weed let's them tap into their creativity, and then every MF one of them just draws buildings with lots of eyes for windows.

Apparently, the hate work against Velma raised the viewings enough that is already approved for a second season.

Except Kaliningrad, the Russian enclave, with a fully equipped naval base full of subs, divers and whatever else might be needed is conveniently seated in the Baltic between Poland and Lithuania. Not saying it was the Russians, just saying they had the means and opportunity.
