So I looked it up and I found this

and it appears that most it is not a crime to commit suicide but it is a crime to assist someone else in it. Whether it is telling them how to do it or knowingly giving them supplies to do it. Interestingly in Scotland it is only a crime if you do it publicly (for example make a suicide threat in a public place).

The person is sucking the soup through straws but because it's to hot they redirected the straw through a glass of cold water so the soup cools of a bit before reaching their mouth

Interesting off topic fact: The reason we say "commit suicide" is because awhile back before depression was understood you could be charged with committing a crime if you tried to kill yourself.
