After all the stabbings, you would think they'd have banned knives by now. I mean they're obviously weapons.

Yep, they're ranked #3 in 2019 for largest GDP growth and forecasted growth... which is kind of insane when you consider #1 is the USA and #2 is China... both with vastly larger market repositories.

Why am I getting downvoted? I'm not exaggerating, look up Fentanyl and Methadone. Jesus people, dont downvote facts.

The fact that certain prescription drugs are even legal surprises the hell out of me. There are dozens of over the counter painkillers easily available that are basically legal meth.

People want to flip a switch and have an immediate solution. In my life I've had 34 friends/family members killed in car accidents/road rage incidents... no one has banned cars yet. I've said it before and I'll say it again, just because something isnt a tool built for the purpose of killing doesnt negate the intent of those using it to kill.***edited for spelling

I love it when someone makes sweeping generalizations about a group of people or country. Bless your heart.

Give it a few weeks, everyone will forget there was even a mass shooting and this wont even be a conversation anymore. Not saying I agree with the fact that everyone will move on, but they will.

With respect, there are a lot of amazing canadians, I've met some amazing people in Canada... but there are a lot of garbage people there, too. Especially in downtown Toronto. America isnt perfect, but Canada isnt exactly a shining beacon of perfection.

I mean with respect, a lot of people do this. A buddy and I do a lot of work with Microsoft but he uses a Mac. I know a lot of people who work at Microsoft that build their own systems so the concept of certain brands being better than others doesnt really exist unless you're working on a super cheap, third party premade... and even then if it gets the job done then it's fine.

This is right on the mark. Sharks are also insanely important to the health of the ocean ecosystem as a whole... but that doesnt get you the same sort of ratings during shark week as, "WORST SHARK ATTACKS EVER!!!". Its really depressing because people are exterminating sharks in a multitude of different countries because they get a bad reputation from hollywood/media.
