@inspectora You're mother sounds like a piece of work. Do what feels right to you for work, not what she tells you and frankly it doesn't sound like she has your best interest at heart. Use the pain as a road map to get where you need and want to go bud. It's going to hurt like hell and you'll fail a LOT, but you'll get there eventually. Hardest part is dealing with the shit that hits you in the now, but sometimes you just have to say screw it and push through. You got this, keep moving forward. Keep pushing.

@Wassertern my great grandparents fled russian communism in Europe and moved to the US because Russian Jews were literally being exterminated. Sure, they met a bit of antisemitism stateside but they were never killed and tortured... cant say the same for my family that stayed in Russia. This isnt some ancient story either or a debate about modern politics, this is recent history repeating itself over and over again because people like you who havent lived through horrors like populist communism and a social government drunk with power, people like you who keep idealizing a system of government that has failed over and over again. Maybe, just maybe, terrible people are drawn to power, government officials (elected or not) go out of their way to gain power, and communism is an amazing catalyst for intense corruption.

And for the record most Israelis have a deep compassion for the Palistinian it's the corrupt government and the Hamas insurgency that dominates local palistinian governing that are not well liked. I can hate the dictatatorship in North Korea and care for the North Korean people enslaved to their government.

Side note, there are a lot of Palistinians that work in Israel and work programs setup specifically for Palistiniand to work in Israel, but there arent any Israelis that work in Palestine... because it's against the law for an Israeli/Jew to cross the border... on pain of death. This isnt me editorializing anything at all, this is actual Palistinian law.

Yep, God forbid anyone criticized Palestinian leadership or Hamas hiding weapons and explosives in hospitals or grade schools... or the fact that they targeted a school in Israel for special needs children. Israel defends themselves from extinction and retaliates against where the rockets are coming from and they get condemned? I'm not even a huge fan of the current government administration in Israel right now but it's pretty clear there is a lot of anti-Israel bias out there right now.

I've seen people audited by the IRS for a lot less... especially if it's someone with name recognition the IRS will go out of their way to push an audit.

@novelus You're comparing prisoners of war and soldiers missing or killed in action... to the LGBT flag having representation during pride month at an American embassy?

Very well done, it's hard work growing a business like that but it's all worth it in the end.

Also, reporting and forcing unnecessary audits is money out of your own pocket... more auditing requires more money going into the IRS budget and subsequently more of your tax dollars.

What he stated was the exact opposite of that... and a lot of people in the LGBT community agree with this guys perspective. I'm not saying I'm a fan of everything Walsh posts, but in this case I dont disagree with the idea that the flag represents all Americans, period.

So tired of seeing this shit. Actual rape victims would probably disagree with this and any one of those weirdos who says they were 'raped' because she didnt like the way a guy looked at her or the way he walked by her needs to legitimately consider therapy... because something isnt right with her brain.

Maybe it's not as 'Communist' vs 'Capitalist' thing, but rather a 'a lot of people who gain power are just shitty human beings' thing. I'm kind of tired of hearing about idealism with any system of government when the fact is that you're going to get horrible people in power in any place government. The dirty little secret that everyone likes to ignore is that a lot of shitty people are typically drawn to the power than any government infrastructure offers.

And star wars is far from the most popular GAMING franchise out there, and EA as a AAA publisher is far from anyone's favorite... so much wrong here.
