I don’t think the image is utility blades. I think that’s a single edge shaving razor because of the slot shapes in the blade.

I don't think they have the capacity to itch. An itch is just a small pain if I remember correctly and I don't think many organs have the innervation to detect small damage or irritation on the level we consider an "itch".
