Oh dang, you're right. Awesome! I mean, that face is gonna haunt my nightmares, but I'm happy for the inclusion. Their evolution looks nice, too.

Kirin does also mean giraffe. But yeah, qilin (aka the mythical beast) would be the cooler interpretation.

I just hope they don't call him a *shudder* liberal. Now that would really break his spirit.

She does throw her tiara, so throwing a shield shouldn't be too hard for her to get the hang of.

Well, Heron of Alexandria invented a steam-powered device roughly 1700 years before the Industrial Revolution. No one thought it would catch on, though.

No, it's not made with frogs. But it is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a French beer, Parisian to be exact.

I'm sure everyone has at least heard of Oktoberfest. But for those unfamiliar, it's a celebration originating in Munich, Bavaria involving food, parades, and of course beer. More specifically, Oktoberfest beer, which is a special type of beer call Märzenbier (March beer) brewed only in said city.
Having been held in Munich since 1810, it's considered an integral part of the city's heritage. However, its observance is not restricted to Munich alone, and beer-lovers around partake with their version of the festival.
The festivities begin in Mid September (this year, 2023, on the 16th) and end in early October. (Feels like it should be called Septemberfest theb, but eh chunging beer doesn't leave much room for sensible naming.)
