Or you just don’t have very nice balls- or aren’t dating “ball women” who appreciate a good set.

While there are many genres of music that tend to represent certain commonalities that don’t always hold universal appeal, they all tend to follow rules and many follow the same rules or nuanced variations on similar rules to each other. So human artists aren’t always being creative and at times they are more on luck than skill when they create something that gains acclaim. Arguably a machine might lose some or all “emotion” from a laiace but that stuff tends to speak more to high end art lovers than the Everyman.

Have you ever heard random sounds that were musical? The dripping of water or some other background noises that sounded a bit like music or even sounded good- like wind causing things to hang around and create a sick beat? When that happens it is almost always that a set of factors has caused the random noises made to fit a set of rules and patterns. Musical theory. It is why you can’t just record random sounds and have it work as music by and large. Without a structure you don’t have music you have noise. If you have a structure but that structure doesn’t follow the rules of what can generally be considered enjoyable to listen to you have music most people won’t like.

So look, in general we have some pretty good ideas what works and what doesn’t. What most people like or the types of emotions or responses things will tend to elicit. Color theory is well studied- based on the human eye and brain, what colors tend to go well together and which do not, colors and combinations that tend to make people relaxed, energized, uncomfortable etc. tomes exist on how to draw lines and almost any object in different ways to influence perception. In music there are mathematical formulas of what “works” and what doesn’t. Most “pop” songs are written to follow and exploit there rules and most well liked songs tend to follow those rules wether the writer knew what they were doing or the song just happened to follow those rules. Because that’s what tends to sound good to humans.

Quite some debate on the topic. Without supporting or rebuking AI creations I can say this- in the original film the robot “checked” will smith by asking “can you?” It is an interesting question, not just because he is calling smiths character out on his lack of creative talent, but because there tend to be certain formulas to things. There are generally two main types of creators like artists and musicians- those which follow a set of prescribed rules and their art is largely judged on their ability to follow those rules, and those which intuitively follow a set of unwritten or yet discovered rules. This is part of what is often scoffed at in “modern” or “surrealist” and other styles of non traditional art.
It is possible, see? 6 comments

Our world of words is most profound.
It seems impossible, but it is not impossible to produce such sentences which hold within them no presence of the prescribed letter.
One might build lengthy, verbose prose without ever needing to use the letter in question.
No trickery is required or short or incomplete sentences. If you check you will find entire books written without this letter or several others, in some instances concurrently multiple vowels omitted, check it out. Quite interesting indeed.

Likewise, women don’t necessarily pick men because being tall is any specific advantage, it is because of how being next to a tall man makes them feel or because of aesthetic reasons largely. At this point in our society some percentage of behavior is tied to instinct and some percent is tied to social conditioning and social selection. There can be numerous advantages to being shorter in many different circumstances. Being short isn’t something to be ashamed of. People who discriminate against shorter guys who are otherwise awesome people are the ones missing out, everyone has to find someone who values them and decide if we value them back. Best of luck.

Function has little in general to do with perception or preference. People often say they feel “safer” in tall vehicles despite the disadvantages of physics inherent to the design. Breast size has no correlation to milk production, heath, or fertility and breasts serve basically no functional benefit and are almost entirely a detriment asides from aesthetic preference. Men on the whole still seem to like breasts no? This is a touch like the guy who talks about how much smarter he is than the guy a woman likes and how foolish and dishonest she is to say she finds intelligence attractive; only to be informed that generally finding intelligence attractive doesn’t mean you want a guy who is a walking encyclopedia of random facts- it means you want a man with the intelligence to know how to materialize desire into reality and navigate life.

See- this is a very simple concept but- when someone has a gun and is unstable you generally don’t want to push them too hard.

The legal system and ability of police and government to restrict and enforce such bans differs and the geography and demography of America makes the concept of the type of policing found in Europe laughable. The genie is out of the bottle already, and as we have learned in cases like Waco and with “sovereign citizens” and as the January 6th events hinted at- there is also a fine balance to be kept while trying to curtail gun violence to not push the extremists over the edge. The truth is that even if the government has the power to put down a mass uprising if most or all the extremists in the nation were galvanized in fear of what they saw as totalitarian measures, it would be costly, bloody, and all around bad for the nation and its people.

Contrast that to Europe where there hasn’t been a true “frontier” for centuries and certain realities of government, economics, and other factors have traditionally made guns less common through most parts and most of the history of the firearm.
The tooling and knowledge to make guns and ammunition are common enough that even if one successfully stopped the production and flow of these items and could somehow exhaust the surplus in existence, there wouldn’t likely be any real hope that such weapons would no longer be used for crime. What’s more there are slews of projectile weapons that could replace guns and can be home made or readily attained, and the criminal culture in the US differs from abroad as abroad differs from each other.

The next problem comes from history and culture. Asides from revolution and later civil war, the United States was not previously host to urban development and large areas were without infrastructure. In other words, from the inception of the country, guns have been a part of people’s lives- not just for protection but for work and sustenance. As a matter of fact the USA still has large regions where people can regularly encounter dangerous animals and where hunting game or killing live stock are still parts of peoples lives. It is hard to imagine someone in urban or suburban America or Europe “needing” a gun, but like many rural areas of the world, guns are actually still tools in many places in the USA. They tend to be fairly extraneous in urban settings and generate more of a liability than a boon, so of course most urbanites view guns as unneeded and foolishly dangerous because they don’t live in an environment where a gun would be a very regularly useful tool.

Generally you don’t need the gun to protect yourself from someone who is protecting themselves with a gun- the idea is more that you need the gun to protect yourself from the person who has a gun to do harm- such as crime, or to protect yourself from gangs and groups of thugs who don’t have guns but outnumber you. Enter the cliche paradox that outlawing guns would then just largely mean that outlaws would have guns since they traditionally… don’t follow the law. Now- the argument holds that outlawing guns would most likely reduce the amount of guns in the hands of outlaws. That may or may not be true. Outlawing drugs has not seemed to decrease the amount of drugs in the country or access to drugs.

/morale as well as moving along his journey. It is HIGHLY unlikely he would have ever gotten involved with fighting the first demon general if a certain member of the group hadn’t pushed him into a confrontation. It is use of their skills such as Megumins explosion at several critical junctions which allows him to gain renown and rewards for certain large tasks or just survive.
In the books certain other things happen and I’m trying to avoid spoilers to any who haven’t seen or read but basically you can see within the first season and pretty early on even how his interactions with these three push him forward but also guide his character development and bring out many of his better qualities. While his second life has frustrations and low points, he does more and experiences more than his first life and it is these three who make that possible because they are both messed up and desperate enough to party with Kazuma and become his friends.

Useless? Hardly. Kazuma starts out as a shit in neet with serious unresolved issues. He squandered his life away in our world before dying and speculatively would have probably squandered his reincarnation as well…
That is if not for these three. Kazuma arrives in the fantasy world to find it is not what he envisioned or his media had prepared him for. His first acts are to join the guild and find out he is not spectacular in stats, and then work a construction job. Aqua gained the coins used to register but maybe kazuma would have worked that out alone- that said however, it is the presence of Aqua that helps attract party members since he is low level and not an arch class. We continue in with early in the story these 3 driving things ahead- often forcing the situations that lead Kazuma to progress or at times even supporting him or saving him in various ways such as when he dies and is resurrected. The company and friendship he gains from them is critical in both his mental health

On where the porridge for each bowl was taken from, the temperature could differ per serving to start.
3. We do not have an accurate description of the environment. For example if one bowl was entirely in a cross draft and another was partially in a cross draft and the third was not in the draft, the rate of cooling could differ due to the variance in heat conduction in each case. One bowl could be in direct sunlight on an intensely sunny day- etc.
So there are numerous ways and reasons that 3 bowls of food could achieve different temperatures in a given period of time.

The “I’m too smart to be smart” strikes again!
It is entirely possible the bowls contained different amounts of porridge and/or were different sizes and materials- it is generally not specified, so it is unknown. The specifics of the container and the total mass of material can impact the temperature of the porridge after a tule left sitting. This also ignores other distinct possibilities-
1. The porridge did not begin the same temperature in each bowl. We do not know the timing by which the porridge was placed in each bowl- it could either have been an intentional decision based on the family members (when we had a baby at home we would plate hot food for the baby and let it sit so that it was cool by the time we all sat to eat for example) or unintentional such as being distracted while setting out the bowls.
2. In that same vein- depending on the method of cooking and composition the porridge in the pot could be different temperatures at different points, meaning that depending

It starts to become a larger issue- for example most places do not guarantee a right to drive and most of the developed world does require drivers to carry insurance because they can cause more harm than the average driver is likely to be able to make right financially.
So that then creates a question to the responsibility of persons doing self repair.
Should those conducting self repairs on certain types of devices be required to carry insurance against possible harms caused by their repairs or attempts to repair if things go poorly? What are the documentation and disclosure processes for self repair if any? How do you enforce any regulations on self repair?

.. is something we should let people choose- of course the problem is that even knowing there is a danger Can require a level of knowledge many consumers do not posses so they often Can and do make mistakes without informed consent as they never knew the dangers because the dangers were advertised but they just didn’t pay attention. Even if you have that right- do you have the right to put others at risk? You can burn down your own home and your neighbors working on a EV, kill others. Improperly adjusted sensors and other equipment can easily cause death or damage.

On the while electronics tend to use most of their resources in creation and little over their lifespans. Keeping old electronics in use is generally a “green” practice provided they are being used for something of prudence or at least that you would have used a new device to do the same thing but now aren’t. Though this is more a matter of consumer habit and ego- needing new and better etc.
there also is a certain point where reality kicks in and you probably can’t repair your own items generally.
Many car engines now use technology similar to space craft in materials coatings and other areas. The chase for more efficiency and power and comfort etc. has to have sacrifices.
When your engine block is micro coated with a low friction film requiring a multimillion dollar machine to place at tolerances smaller than a human hair, you can’t really fix that reasonably.
Your electric car can easily kill you if you try to work on it. Perhaps the right to die if you make a mistake..

Yes and no. Some things are actually on the sum total worse to keep in service- many older machines are woefully inefficient. You have yo calculate the resource costs to make an item and compare that to the life time use resource costs. So for example, electric vehicles have HUGE up front resource costs but over a span of continuous service for several decades- they will consume very few resources compared to most petrol and diesel vehicles. Of course in that example, the average electric car will likely not last long enough to actually make back the initial resource investment unless you put an obscene amount of miles on it- and if you put on miles you wouldn’t have put on if you didn’t have the electric car that too is a waste of resources comparatively. So repairing a 1989 Honda civic CRX base with its near 50mpg would likely be good for the environment and your wallet but keeping that 1965 F250 running probably less so.

I fail to understand the disdain for proper punctuation, beyond perhaps those people who do not know how to punctuate properly and thusly feel self conscious when others do.
I know of no person who never, at least in informal correspondence, breaks any rules or conventions of the English language as a matter of convenience or otherwise. That said, it’s a period. It’s simple to add on many devices like Apple portable devices with digiérale keyboards have functions such as “double tap” on the space bar to add a period.

If you own multiple types of vehicle and refer to them all as “the car” then your mileage might vary as to wether the person(s) being spoken to infer your intent. Where specificity matters it is generally best to use specific language, and you need to consider your purpose when selecting your words. What information is critical to understand and why?
