Ugh, this is so annoying. My brother for example. Were watching doctor who and he's constantly asking me who someone is and why something happened- we have been watching it for 3 years.
And Harry potter for gods sakes. He didn't even know who funny weasley was. I freaking gave him my own copies of the book.

This reminds me of that one SPN episode where this girl from the local chastity group (where their 'sins' were washed away and they were reborn as virgins) turned out to be a porn star.

I'm a fan of LOTR and The Hobbit, and yes I do complain about things that aren't in the book but really, so much money went into making these movies and I personally think Peter Jackson did an amazing job at it.
But the thing is, if you are a script writer, for your name to appear in the credits you need to have contributed to at least 30% of your own work. Meaning every movie that has been adapted from a book has to have at least 30% original content. So I think it's only fair and I'm okay with the slight 'mistakes'

Athlete should be further up, probably just above musician and writer. Being an athlete myself, the amount of hours that go into training and fitness, I'm not saying it isn't the same for a musician; it's just that a trumpet player for example can eat whatever, whenever. But an athlete needs to keep a constant diet.
Also-depending on the sport- the physical requirements are insane.
A writer simply puts their ideas on paper; I'm not saying that there is no skill involved, but it is really a lot harder to be a pro athlete than it is to write words of a page.

well my theory is that in some sort of hot spring or whatever, the chemicals formed together just right to create the shell and whatever was inside the shell manifested into some sort of thing. when it hatched it mated with some other egg-laying thing that formed the same way. thus the chicken.
