I'd have to pay my parents just to step foot in a church

When I was 10, I was at our church's yearly 4 hour long Christmas service and dying of boredom. Halfway through, everyone put their heads down in prayer. I saw an opportunity to sneak out, and I took it. Nobody ever made me go to church again :D

I like this for reasons.

I would do that for free

I love the mum for taking her child to church to give them information but then poking fun to let them know it isn't all serious. Seems like good & fun parenting to me

...did he get $10 though?

My guess would be that the mother and the kid had some serious praying to do before Jesus would forgive them. That's just disrespectful. (but funny)
