What I’m “returning” to amazon after refusing to refund undelivered item

I'm not saying you're lying; I'm saying Amazon customer service is allowed to issue a credit pretty much automatically up to a certain amount. If your item is more than that amount, then sending purported camera footage of it not being delivered would likely be sufficient.
