As an autistic person, I can confidently say this is privileged idealistic bullshit. I am proficient in lying, it is a product of my childhood. I treat others as equals because I have learned what it is like to be an outcast. I really struggle with empathy, and it’s only for select people under select circumstances. These are all learned and taught behaviours as a product of a specific environment. These are not inherent.
