Looks legit, given how so many cis persons perceive the expression as a slur, because they're "just normal" and "need no woke wording" to express their identity.

Downvoting a post when you've got no argument to make is a pretty chicken move.
Upvotes. Wish I could do triple on all three. One for the original post and one for each subsequent post.
If people find “cis” or “cisgender” to be a slur that’s fine with me- so long as they propose a different word to act as a neutral identifier for persons who identify by their biological gender at birth. As you say- when it comes to issues of race and religion and gender and much more- too often people consider themselves the “norm” and anything else a “special case.” This way of thinking leads to inherent bias. “I don’t mind gays, I just don’t want them shoving their lifestyle in my face!” Well… the world kinda shoves heterosexuality in everyone’s faces traditionally. If we think of it as “default” or “normal” that makes sense- but if someone offers “pizza” what do you expect? To me, if I just say: “pizza” I consider pepperoni the sort of default basic pizza. One might argue that cheese is the basic form of pizza and anything else is a topping- and others may feel otherwise,
that’s before we involve crust type and sauces and everything else! But if you actually care- most people in my experience don’t say “pizza” when they care- they say: “a cheese pizza” or “pepperoni pizza” or “supreme/the works” etc. Because there are so many types of pizza that simply knowing you going to be served pizza doesn’t really tell you what to expect unless you are fine with anything that could be called pizza. In that same vein it isn’t only a matter of consideration but a matter of prudence, if one cares, to use identifying words to define traits of people.
And yea- these “wars” are largely just the songs played by people who benefit from making everyone dance for them. I regret to inform so many that your life doesn’t really change in any meaningful way based on others gender identity in general. We’ve always had people with self identity that isn’t maybe obvious to the observer- it’s like being pissed we created a word for gravity and teach gravity in school because..
.. you think that somehow before we recognized and named gravity that you lived in a world without it. Just because you didn’t see gravity or had to come up with your own terms for it doesn’t mean it didn’t exist in the world or anything changed of note other than maybe you sued to call gravity “the falls” and after we put it in books people don’t understand you or think you’re a bit simple if you walk around using some slang word for it. Just grow up people. That’s my message on this stuff. Grow up. Go live your life and do you and let other people do them. I don’t give a shit what consenting adults or owned objects my plumber gets down with or what their gender concept is- I want my toilet to work. Make it work, here’s your money and some appreciation. Some people are sensitive- perhaps annoyingly so at times- but then people get sensitive to sensitivity? That’s better somehow? I just would wish that we could all be adults here.

If I was here for the upvotes, I'd post a mix of about 2/3 dad jokes and 1/3 hate on non-cis and non-conservative persons, use a lot of strawman arguments and would never debate criticism on my postings.
@karlboll- then you are failing miserably and I am not helping!
@general_failure- spicy.
@ignorance- I mean… I’m not here for upvotes personally, and I didn’t call anyone a chicken- I upvoted the sentiment, because it is funny, and I personally believe that the “blind upvote” is the mark of either the coward, the person who can’t refute the logic and is upset at the reality, or in essence a sign of ungraceful defeat.
I DID say people need to grow up- which the equivalent of a silent fit doesn’t really invalidate. That wasn’t taunting though- it was more a desperate cry for people to please do better.

I wasn't speaking of you guest. And failure, if you don't care about downvotes, why're you crying about being downvoted?

Did that sound like crying to you? That may have been wishful thinking. It was meant to be mocking.
@ignorance- duly noted. There was no “@“ so I assumed it was to all previous comments. I shall take my leave for now then and wish you all a great day.
