I don't know, I liked it when I finally got to taste it. Maybe not something to eat in large portions but I did like it.

This only applies if you're talking about Fry's Turkish Delight, which is a completely different thing to what was in the book

Totally ^ this. They call their industry chocolate bar a "twist on the original" while it has absolutely nothing to do with Lokum (turkish/syrian) and Loukoumi (greek). Lokum is based on gelated starch and sugar and there's many varieties with lots of different toppings and ingredients. Except it's never made with chocolate. Like ever. So calling it " a twist" on real lokum is quite absurd. Like calling Heinz baked beans a twist on Rogan Josh curry.

Yeah. I mentioned this as I watched a video on Americans trying British chocolate,Fry's Turkish Delight being one of them. None of them liked it and couldn't understand why ' Edmund betrayed his siblings for this', even though he had the the Lokum one, not the one they tried in the video.
