the lighting was really dark, but that was the point. 2nd best batman movie ever. My list goes TDK, The Batman, The Dark Knight returns pt 1 and 2, and TDK rises <----simply because nolan nailed bane and catwoman, the actual end fight sequence sucked balls.

It really was a pleasant surprise. It was nice to have a new Batman that didn't start completely at the beginning, but I loved seeing a Batman that wasn't quite the ultimate badass yet. The Batman is a good fighter, but he still gets nailed, he's a great detective but he still misses things, and he hasn't quite realized that what he's doing is having an effect, but not exactly the effect it should. Rob turned out to be great, and Paul Dano was seriously creepy. And I've never, ever, seen someone so completely transform into another human being like Colin Farrell.
