Now this seems a tad nihilistic, but rest assured that there is hope. For there are people who do have totally original ideas, who don't follow what others say and make up their own minds and opinions, and who are not like the other girls.

Well, anything you create will inherently have an amount of originality to it. Because YOU created it, nobody else. YOU put the time and effort in. In the infinite randomness of existence, you will never be the same as anyone else, and you will never be the same as your past self either.

I was gonna tell you bit by bit why I feel what you said is wrong. But I don't always need to do that. Sometimes, knowing that someone is trying to stay genuinely optimistic, instead of just acting as though they do, is enough.
