Don knows what's up

She was not well handled. The part that bothered me is that she got her powers from the Space Stone but somehow that allowed her to effectively fight Thanos while he was in possession of the actual Space Stone and all the others.

It would have been better had they done her movie in phase 2 then have her show up in gotg2 for an interesting cameo. There's so much more to her character, and she's the only avenger that was in only one movie before Endgame. They also went straight to Captain Marvel, skipping her time as Ms. Marvel, took away her seventh sense, while letting her go straight into binary mode with none of the drawbacks of it. She's prolly the worst by Marvel standards, but still.. her movie compared to the vast majority of stuff out there isn't bad by any stretch imo.
