This entry should have been posted last Sunday, but for some reason I couldn't do that then. Wouldn't you know the 13th entry would give me trouble (it was Jinx'ed, if you will).
*
The Jinx I'm most familiar is the one from the original Teen Titans animated series (pictured). If I remember, she was pretty snarky and she led a team called the H.I.V.E. Five which actually did manage to beat the Teen Titans during its first appearance. Later on, she changed sides and became a hero. And her powers were probability manipulation (basically causing bad luck).
The comic book Jinx is radically different. For one thing she's an adult and she's Indian. For another, her powers include manipulation of elemental and magical energy and the ability to dissolve matter and cause ground tremors. She is still usually a part of a five-man team called the Fearsome Five.
Neither versions have their real name revealed. (It's probably bad luck to do so.)
