The camera can't really pick up on them but when the wind dies down there's so very large flakes just floating around. Probably the size of a pinky fingernail. They're quite pretty (and cold)
It's like a mulled wine, but as I don't drink alcohol, I use substitutes. The main base is apple cider, with some cranberry juice and grape juice, and some spices, toss it in a crock pot for a few hours, and your house will smell divine and you've got an amazing warm drink
@xvarnah Here's my recipe. :) Just make sure to get good fresh cider and not juice from concentrate. I use a local seasonal cider from a nearby tree farm. And remove the fruit/spices from the mix after about 3 hours.
.
3 qts apple cider
1 qt cranberry juice
1 qt grape juice
2 sliced oranges
1 cup cranberries
2 cinnamon sticks
(4 cardamom pods
5 whole cloves
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 pinch orange peels
1 pinch lemon peels
1 star anise seed)*
*(these go in a tea ball that sits inside)
You're lucky.. it got so windy here I spat off my patio trying to hit a bush, my spitball got blown upwards and fucking hit the bottom of the patio. My spit basically ascended.. it was bonkers.
Currently it's like mother nature is playing roulette. The answer if you ask me how the weather is depends upon the when of the question.
