Well that's the case in some cultures, the Bamileke for instance have fun, make music and eat a lot during their funerals. It lasts for a few days too.

I’d hope people would smile at my funeral. It makes sense- remember the happy times. You might cry a little- but I’d hope people would have good memories to share and jokes to tell- perhaps I die in a funny way- one can dream.

I was inspired by that one person who wants to have their head amputated after they die and put on a stick. Then people who want to eulogize them have to hold the head stick. Pure genius.
