You can also install an extension called "Youtube Playback Speed Control" (It works on any HTML5 video, including Netflix, Facebook, etc.) which I downloaded because it allows you to go way above X2 speed, but it turns out that it fast forwards through ads without your favorite creators missing out on ad revenue.
