Carpeted bathrooms confuse me more, how do you control all the mold that would grow?

I have a T-shaped bathroom with a sink on the 2 "ends" of the T horizontally, the tub would be on top of the horizontal line in the T, and then the toilet in the middle right under the horizontal line. The horizontal line is tiled, and the vertical line carpeted with a sink on the right side of the vertical line. I've never had a mold problem (my biggest issue with keeping it clean is TP that like.. flakes; have to be vigilant with my tile cleaning >_> I like the carpet as it provides an area where I can clean my bong and not risk dropping it onto tile or porcelain, as it would shatter even if it fell only a few inches. I also routinely steam vacuum that carpet though, so maybe that has something to do with keeping the mold away.

Yeah I reckon the steam cleaning would help a lot. I like the aspect of carpet because it's nice to step onto something warm but the combo of a warm room and water doesn't make sense to me overall.

Eh, I keep my upstairs at 66F most of the time. (18.88 C). It only spikes in that area after a shower or a vacuum, and I open up the doors to air it out.

I saw a carpeted bathroom once years and years ago, and it still haunts me.
