(arthur weasley literally couldn't use muggle money because he didn't understand how it worked, considering that wizard money is basically muggle money but magical and with different number fractional seperations, the only reason arthur weasley couldn't use it was because he didn't understand how muggle money was split.)

JK Rowlings wizard world was pretty much designed to ignore the muggle world and any knowledge either had. when you acknowledge both you pretty much end up with too many loose ends. like the fact that muggle born wizards pretty much all went to a muggle school until they turned 11 at which they probably moved to hogwarts. so why don't muggleborn kids even ravenclaw muggleborn kids question why every wizard apart from them seem to somehow not understand how muggles work, also why are non muggleborn wizards in charge of muggle and wizard relations considering they are probably the most qualified for it, but arthur weasley is in charge of that and even though he's a nice dad and pretty great hes not the best for that job.... asdfhaushudfh anyways... i usually ignore it but this post reminded me of this and yeh

HP has a lot of plot issues and I mean A LOT, but that's not the point. The point is to lose yourself in a universe where magic is real and forget about all your crushing debts and your shitty job
