Those harsh Indian accents will getcha, I had a Amazon Customer Support agent with a heavy Indian accent, it was like a whole new language even though my brain processed the "He's saying English" part of it.
Come on. I'm French, and Indian-speaking tutorials are okay to me.

I dont think anyone is trying to be mean about it, I think their point is that it might have more to do with what you're native language is--what sounds normal to some maybe be more difficult for others. I speak Hebrew just fine, but someone with a heavy Farsi accent/speaking Farsi might as well be from another planet as far as me understanding them.
I don't mind Indian accents I actually love all accents.
What I hate is monotone voices.

Today we are going
To talk about
The weather.
It is really
Drab.
.
See shit like that. That pisses me off.
Indian accents make me feel weird but I can live with that.
What I find hard to cope with us that some people have such irritating voice?
There is this girl in my class in semester, she seems fine, I don't know her at all but she seems like your average university student
But my gosh, the moment she opens her mouth!
She talks about normal things, nothing special but her voice! Not only it's extremely intolerable but also very loud and she's using the mic ._.
.
I know it's not her fault that she sounds like a bull being molested but my ears are going bleed...
All my life, I've been told I sound beautiful (not for singing, only public speaking) so I suppose everyone who lives in the capital sound at least decent, a normal accent or something.
But I was wrong.
Anyways, sorry for that, I just wanna rant a little bit, not trying to be mean or anything. Doesn't matter your voice sound nice or horrible, talk (but maybe keep it down a little bit)
I really really don't want to sound racist here, but I have this weird aversion to Indian accents. I don't know what it is, but they make me so uncomfortable! I just feel extremely awkward and it's incredibly hard to understand what they're saying. I think I know what this stemmed from, however; When I was young, my sisters and I used to carpool with our Indian neighbors, a dad and daughter. Everyone else in the car would either put earbuds in or just not respond, so it was up to me to talk to this girl's dad. He talked the ENTIRE ride, to and from school, every damn second. Keep in mind that this is 20 minutes each way. So I would be forced to keep up with his ramblings and invasive questions. I was too scared and too polite to do anything else, or ask him if we could just listen to music. I really resented my sisters for a while after that for not helping me out at all. That dude always gave me the creeps. Thankfully I don't have to see him ever again because they moved away, but be
cause of how uncomfortable and anxious his questions made me feel, Indian accents make me sick to my stomach and I can't smell jasmine without gagging. Thanks so much, creepy Indian neighbor!
